Hi everyone, meet my rescue dog, Oreo!

Hi, I’m Mara, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). With a background in education and social services, I have spent over 20 years working with individuals in crisis and helping them to navigate life's challenges!

I work with couples and individuals who are seeking growth, healing, and stronger connections. My clinical focus is supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. I also support folks with anxiety, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I use evidence-based therapies tailored to your needs, including: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed and somatic approaches.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, relationship strain, or stress related to life's transitions, I offer a warm, judgment-free space to make sense of what you’re going through. Clients often describe my style as compassionate, approachable, and gently honest, with room for both healing and a bit of humor. If you’re ready for change, we can work together to build the more joyful life and relationships you deserve.

The first step is always the hardest, but you don’t have to do it alone. Schedule a complimentary consultation call using the button below to see if we’re a good fit. Together, we’ll create a plan to move you closer to the connections and clarity you’re seeking!

Mara's Clinical Focus

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and rescue dog “Oreo’, playing games, hiking and cooking together. As a parent of 3, my experience navigating children with neurodiversity, allergies and parenting teenagers gives me a grounded, real-life understanding of family challenges.
